About us

Instrumental Music Program

The Instrumental Music Program runs across both Yeshivah and Beth Rivkah campuses, providing students from Foundation level through to VCE with an opportunity to learn a musical instrument of their choice during school hours.

Music Lessons

Our teachers come from a diverse range of musical backgrounds, each bringing with them a wealth of musical knowledge and experiences.

Currently we offer private instrumental lessons to students wishing to learn clarinet, flute, saxophone, violin, cello, trumpet, trombone, piano, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, drums and voice.

Ensemble Program

In addition to lessons, students can participate in our ensemble music program. This involves attending rehearsals on a weekly basis to play alongside their peers. Our ensembles have become an important and anticipated feature of many school events held throughout the year.

All music students also can perform as soloists during our two soiree seasons, held at the end of each semester. Our teachers tailor their lessons to the individual interests and aspirations of each student, in consultation with their parents.

External Study

Many students who study music at Yeshivah-Beth Rivkah choose to complete external music exams, competitions and performances.

Our teachers play an active role in supporting students to reach their personal goals.
