Yeshivah Primary
Building foundations for lifelong learning.
Yeshivah Primary (Foundation - Year 6) instils a love of learning in all our students, equipping them with the skills to thrive and succeed as they progress through their schooling.
With a dedicated and highly-qualified support team – including experts in Jewish Studies, Literacy and Numeracy, as well as Enrichment and Support Staff and School Psychologists – we help students benefit from the Jewish tradition of ‘meychayil el chayil’ (growing from strength to strength). This ensures they are ready to take the next step in their learning journey.
YESHIVAH PRIMARY
Outstanding Educators
Our team of dedicated educators is committed to creating a warm and nurturing environment where students feel supported and valued. By encouraging exploration and development of their identities and talents, our educators empower students to reach their full potential. Through personalised attention and guidance, we inspire a love for learning and foster a sense of belonging within our school community.
Buddy Up
Our School Buddy Program is designed to foster strong, supportive relationships between students across different year levels. Older students mentor and guide younger students, creating a sense of community and belonging. This program not only helps new students adjust and feel welcomed but also encourages leadership and responsibility in older students. The bonds formed through our buddy system often last for many years, contributing to a cohesive and supportive school environment.
Sports Day - The Khoen Cup
The Annual Khoen Cup Sports Day is a highly anticipated event on the Yeshivah calendar, made possible by the generous sponsorship of Mr Menachem Khoen (now in its 50th year!)
Students eagerly gather for a day filled with various sporting events, showcasing their athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Divided into House Teams—Ephraim, Reuven, Dan, and Yehuda—students compete passionately for the prestigious Khoen Cup.
Beyond the excitement of competition, the Khoen Cup Sports Day fosters camaraderie, school spirit, and a sense of pride in representing their respective houses. It is a cherished tradition that brings the entire school community together in celebration of sport and unity.
Cross Country Competition
Yeshivah Primary students eagerly anticipate the annual cross-country event, a tradition that promotes physical fitness and sportsmanship.
Whether crossing the finish line first or cheering on their classmates, every participant emerges with a sense of accomplishment and pride, celebrating the spirit of healthy competition and teamwork.
Out Of School Hours Care
Yeshivah Beth-Rivkah Care exists to provide an affordable, fun, and educational Outside School Hours Care program, so our students are engaged, safe and cared for before and after school hours.
YBR Cares enriches the Yeshivah-Beth Rivkah community by providing exceptional care in an atmosphere of warmth, safety, and security. YBR Cares fosters children’s individuality and their physical, intellectual, and emotional growth is nurtured. The foundations of our care philosophy centre around the My Time, Our Place Framework and we adhere to the National Quality Standard for Early Childhood Education and Care. We incorporate the needs, interests and learning development of all children in our care, to ensure families have a sense of belonging and engagement.
